Security Checkpoint (TSA)
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) manages the checkpoints at FLO. As you prepare for your upcoming trip, find helpful information to guide you through the screening process, including what to expect at the checkpoint, how to properly transport firearms, and how to contact local TSA staff with specific questions. Our goal is to help you move through security smoothly, quickly, and confidently.
General Information
TSA’s security screening process is designed to ensure passenger safety while making travel as smooth as possible. Travelers can learn what to expect at the checkpoint, including guidelines for liquids, electronics, and prohibited items, to help them prepare before arriving at the airport.
For more information, visit the TSA website.
Transporting Firearms and Ammunition
TSA provides detailed guidelines for transporting firearms and ammunition in checked baggage, including requirements for proper storage, declaration at check-in, and compliance with airline policies. Firearms must be unloaded, locked in a hard-sided container, and declared to the airline during the check-in process.
For more information, visit the “Transporting Firearms and Ammunition” section of the TSA website.
